30 Days of Video Games: Day 16
Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes:
Red Dead Redemption was a lot more enjoyable than I originally thought it would be, and takes all the tropes you’d normally find in a Western (spaghetti or otherwise) and puts it all in a game for you to run through (I’m looking at you, Dastardy!)
Every single thing in it shouts “Western” that it comes as no surprise that even the cutscenes, costumes and duelling mini-game seem to reference The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
A very good contender for one of my favourite free-roaming games. If you’ve been disappointed that westerns (as a genre) has been neglected for far too long, or you’re simply a fan of free-roaming games, be sure to give it a go.
